Daniel and I respond to this story differently. He finds it sad, and I think it perfectly captures what it's like to be part of a couple. We're a unit, but we can't ever share a mind. At best, we understand each other and I think we do. The collection of stories is like a memoir of travel and could be a comedy and a story of disconnection. Regardless of the feelings the lyrics invoke, Molly Drake is a treasure who should be more widely regarded as equal to Nick.
